British Chiropractic Awareness Week 2005

Dated: 27 April 2005

The British Chiropractic Association
Chiropractic Awareness Week was from the 18th - 22nd April

This was a nationwide campaign from the BCA to raise public awareness of how chiropractic treatment can not only help neuromusculoskeletal (nerves, joints, bones and muscles) problems, but also how chiropractors can also provide sound advice on lifestyle, diet and exercise in order to prevent problems from reoccurring.

During BCA Chiropractic Awareness Week, there were a lot of activities going on around the country that highlighted some specific themes.

* A survey commissioned by the BCA and Targus (the leading supplier of mobile computing cases and accessories), has revealed the rise of 'hot-desking' and the use of laptop computers, as well as highlighting some of the problems that can be caused by this.
There were competitions in many national and local papers, as well as local radio stations where £100 'Back To Work' packs from Targus were offered as prizes.
