Chiropractic can benefit people of all ages, including children. As children grow, chiropractic can help not only with the strains caused by the rough and tumble of life but also with some of the problems that children can suffer in their first years:

A BCA chiropractor will carry out a full examination and take a thorough history before advising an appropriate treatment programme for you or your children. Treatment consists of specific adjustments done by hand to free stiff joints and remove spinal nerve irritation. Your chiropractor may also recommend ice or heat treatment and massage.

Chiropractic is a natural, drug-free treatment and is effective for the whole family.

Chiropractors are primary health-care professionals, so you do not need to be referred by your doctor.

In common with medical practitioners and dentists, all chiropractors are registered by law under the Chiropractors Act 1994. The profession is statutorily regulated through the General Chiropractic Council
(GCC) and it is illegal to practise as a chiropractor without being registered with the GCC.

All BCA chiropractors will have undergone a minimum four-year full-time internationally-accredited degree course and are registered with the General Chiropractic Council.
