BCA selected to contribute to World Health Organisation / Europe Public Health Innovation Platform

The BCA has been selected to join WHO and Europe Public Health Innovation Platform, contributing to collaborative efforts to advance public health innovation, strengthen community engagement, and improve MSK health outcomes.

BCA Selected to Contribute to WHO/Europe Public Health Innovation Platform

The British Chiropractic Association (BCA) has been selected to contribute to the WHO/Europe Public Health Innovation Platform as part of a multi-stakeholder thematic working group, bringing together organisations and experts from across the European region to explore innovative approaches to improving public health.

The BCA's involvement will be led through its newly established Policy Committee, reflecting the Association's commitment to engaging with wider public health challenges and contributing to conversations that extend beyond traditional professional boundaries. The opportunity recognises the important role that musculoskeletal health, prevention and community engagement can play in supporting population health outcomes.

As part of the working group, participants will examine how social and behavioural innovation can help address some of the most pressing challenges facing healthcare systems. Discussions will focus on designing more effective behaviour-change interventions, identifying innovative approaches to strengthen community participation and ownership, and exploring how successful initiatives can be scaled to deliver meaningful improvements in population health.

The WHO/Europe Public Health Innovation Platform provides a collaborative environment for sharing knowledge, exchanging ideas and learning from innovative approaches being developed across the region.

By contributing to these discussions, the BCA will have the opportunity to work alongside colleagues from a range of sectors and disciplines committed to advancing prevention, health promotion and community-centred healthcare solutions.

The Association looks forward to supporting efforts that explore how innovation can strengthen community engagement, encourage healthier behaviours and contribute to improved musculoskeletal health and wellbeing, while helping to identify practical solutions that can make a positive difference for communities across Europe.
